How to Apply
For the 2025–2026 School Year (Current Year)
Families may choose one of the following options:

Complete our application using the linked Google Form, or

Download the 2025–2026 application (link below) and return it via email, mail, or fax
For the 2026-2027 School Year:
Families may choose one of the following options:
- Complete our application using the linked Google Form or;
- Download our 2026-2027 application (link below) and return it to the school via email, mail, or fax.
What happens next?
- Submit an application
Applications may be submitted via Google Form or emailed to [email protected]. - Lottery (if needed)
In accordance with Minnesota Statute and our admissions policy, a lottery will be held if applications exceed available space prior to March 1, 2026.
- Enrollment confirmation
HCIS will contact families to confirm acceptance of enrollment. - Registration Night
Students and families attend Registration Night in April 2028, or schedule an individual appointment if applying after April. -

Once enrolled, students and families will:-
Complete Language Arts and Mathematics placement exams
