Join us at the Great Lakes Aquarium to celebrate the opening of a collaborative gallery featuring art from Harbor City International students on organisms of the St. Louis River Estuary.
The artwork in this exhibition was created by Harbor City students who are learning about the Rights of Nature for the St. Louis River Estuary. Their work reflects a growing movement to see water not only as a resource but as a living relative. Waankam: People for the Estuary has helped Harbor City students learn about Rights of Nature, spend time in the Estuary, and grow appreciation for the organisms that live here. This event runs from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
