The Harbor City School Mission

Harbor City International School is a public charter school serving grades nine through twelve. We provide a small, learner-directed community that encourages investigative learning, global citizenship and nurtures a sense of belonging. Our purpose is to graduate students who are knowledgeable, discerning, passionate, creative, and reflective.

Enrollment and Admissions
Interested in enrolling?
Seats in some grade levels are still available on a 'first come-first serve' basis for the current school year. Complete the
Enrollment Interest Form and contact the office at 218-722-7574 x311. If the grade is full you'll be placed on the waiting list. We encourage visits to the school, call for an appointment.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SCIENCE OLYMPIANS

Today, Saturday February 6, 2010, eight Harbor City International students went to Minneapolis to compete in the Minnesota Science Olympiad regional event. The event was held at the University of Minnesota in the Tate Hall of Physics. The students competed in Cell Biology, It’s about Time, Ecology, Picture This, Astronomy, and Trajectory.
Nathan Hubert and Becca McLaughlin came in first place in the Astronomy competition. Rounding out the team are Nolan Dwyer, Jay Bongey, Maija Rannikko, Paul Schulzetenberg, Aryana Buck and Cosmo Wolfe.
The team advanced to the State Competition on March 13 at St. Thomas University. Great performance and good luck at the State Competition!!
